Bayern Munich have been monitoring the progress of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to his agent.
Mustafi, 23, has become hugely impressive since swapping Sampdoria for Valencia last summer and has courted the interest of Barcelona, as well as Bayern.
“It’s true that Bayern have gone to see him,” Ali Bulut told Gestiona Radio Valencia. “But it’s normal because he is playing very well.
“Bayern watch all of Mustafi’s matches. But they have still not been in touch with us. Before anything, what Bayern should do is talk with Valencia.”
Valencia have endured a troubled start to the season, but Mustafi appears to be growing from strength to strength. In fact, only Aymen Abdennour has a gained a higher WhoScored rating (7.76) than Mustafi in La Liga for Valencia thus far (7.49).
