Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco join race for Chelsea target
Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are the latest sides to express an interest in signing Watford forward Richarlison, reports The Daily Mirror.
Richarlison only joined Watford last summer but the Hornets face a huge challenge to retain his services for next season.
The 20-year-old made a thoroughly impressive start to the season and has been heavily linked with moves to Tottenham and Chelsea as a result.
Watford have since slapped a £40m asking price on their £11.5m investment and there is still interest in the Brazilian despite the fact his form has tailed off dramatically since December.
Richarlison’s form has been so poor in recent matches that he has even lost his place in the Watford starting XI, but that hasn’t put off potential suitors.
It has now emerged that PSG and Monaco are interested in prising Richarlison away from Vicarage Road in the summer, complicating Chelsea and Tottenham’s interest in the youngster.
Richarlison has played a direct hand in nine Premier League goals this season (five goals, four assists), but has failed to net in his last 23 games for the Hornets.
