Atletico Madrid have made signing Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain their top transfer target this summer, claims Marca, via 101 Great Goals.
Diego Simeone’s side have previously been linked with bringing Chelsea striker Diego Costa back to the club but would appear to have realigned their sights.
Higuain, 28, has been heavily linked with a move away from Napoli following a sensational campaign and Atletico have now entered the race to sign the Argentina internationalThe former Real Madrid striker finished the campaign as the highest scorer in Serie A, having scored 17 more goals than any other player (36).
