There hasn’t been much to cheer about for Toulouse this season. Dominique Arribage’s men are one point from safety having only won four of their 20 league matches this season. Only Troyes, who are still awaiting their first win of the campaign, are worse on that front in Ligue 1.
However, there was reason to cheer at the weekend when Wissam Ben Yedder fired in his first league hat-trick since May 2014, as Toulouse came from behind to beat relegation rivals Reims 3-1 away from home.
The 25-year-old is currently enjoying a purple patch of form having scored six of his last seven league goals in his last six matches. The former France Under-21 international scored with all of his Toulouse's three shots on target in the match and finished the weekend as Ligue 1’s highest rated player over the weekend (9.26).
