Morgan Schneiderlin favours a move to Arsenal over Manchester United, according to reports.
Southampton midfielder Schneiderlin, 25, is expected to depart the south coast club this summer, with a number of Premier League teams linked with a move for the France international.
United were supposedly in the drivers seat to secure his signature, but Arsenal appear to have stolen a march on their rivals, with the France international hoping to remain in the south of England.
The Gunners, though, are yet to make a bid for Schneiderlin, unlike United, who recently saw a £20m bid for the Saints star rejected by Ronald Koeman’s side, who are holding out for £25m.
Schneiderlin has previously stated he would only depart Saints for a Champions League team, saying: "Of course the Champions League is my goal. If I leave Southampton it will be for a club in the Champions League."
That seemingly rules out a move to Tottenham, who still hold a strong interest in the former RC Strasbourg star.
