Barcelona will rekindle their interest in Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos by bidding €60m (£51.5m) for the defender in January, according to L’Equipe, via Marca.
Marquinhos, 22, has three years remaining on his existing deal with the Ligue 1 champions but is unhappy with life in the French capital.
The sale of David Luiz to Chelsea at the end of the summer transfer window looked to have given the Brazil international the green light to become PSG’s first choice centre back partner alongside Thiago Silva, but he still wants out.
Marquinhos has only failed to complete 14 passes out of 199 in league and European competition this season (93% pass success).
