Hudson-Odoi wants to quit Chelsea for Bayern Munich

Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready to serve Chelsea with a huge blow by pushing for a January move to Bayern Munich, claims The Sun.

Bayern have already had a £20m bid rejected for the 18-year-old and have reportedly increased their offer to £30m after earmarking the teen as their top transfer target this month.

Hudson-Odoi has failed to break into the Chelsea first-team under Maurizio Sarri this season despite several eye-catching displays in pre-season.

The England Under-19 international has entered the final 18 months of his current Chelsea deal and has no interest in renewing with his boyhood club.

Having already agreed personal terms with Bayern, who are on the market for long-term successors to Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, it leaves Chelsea with a huge decision to make.

Sarri’s side can either extract maximum value for the highly-rated winger this month or gamble he will change his mind before the end of the season and pledge his future to the club.

However, if Hudson-Odoi is still intent on leaving at the end of the season then his value in the transfer market will tumble due to the fact he will only have 12 months left to run on his existing deal.

Hudson-Odoi has only managed 42 minutes of playing time in the Premier League this season, though did feature in four of Chelsea’s six Europa League group matches.

Of players that have made more than three appearances in the Europa League this season, Hudson-Odoi is averaging the most dribbles per 90 (5.8).
