Manchester United are targeting Galatasaray man Bruma as Jose Mourinho’s side looks to strengthen in January, reports the Sun on Sunday.
The 22-year-old has impressed in the Super Lig this season with a WhoScored rating of 7.98 the best of all players in Turkey’s top tier this term.
The Portuguese wideman, who has been attracting interest from Premier League side Tottenham, is renowned for his speed on the flanks, which appeals to United.
Mourinho feels he can utilise Bruma’s pace out wide in the second half of the season, particularly with United’s attack looking below par this term.
Bruma’s contract with Galatasaray currently runs until the end of next season and they may be tempted to cash in on the youngster should he opt against penning a new deal.
United could make an opening move for Bruma in the New Year with an opening gambit of £8m, though it remains to be seen whether Galatasaray would accept such an offer, while Spurs would likely rival the club for any move.
