Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has been training on his own for two weeks and will be sold this summer to raise funds for new signings, claims The Athletic.
Guendouzi has fallen out of favour with Arteta on one too many occasions this season and the Spaniard has had enough of the 21-year-old's ill-discipline.
Arsenal are working off a small budget this summer and Arteta wants to cash in on the French midfielder in order to help fund his transfer plans.
The Gunners are even open to including Guendouzi in potential swap deals and the youngster will not be short of potential suitors at the end of the season.
Guendouzi quickly established himself as a fan favourite for his tenacity and desire to win after breaking into the first-team set-up in August 2018.
However, the Frenchman has not been included in the matchday squad for Arsenal's last three games and has featured in just eight of Arteta's 15 league matches in charge.
Arsenal have a significantly better win ratio when Guendouzi has not started in the Premier League (45.5%) compared to when he has featured from the off (23.5%).
