Ahead of what promises to be a busy summer at Inter, the club has reportedly lined up Nice star Dalbert as their first choice left-back, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
With the nerazzurri expected to announce the appointment of Luciano Spalletti as their new manager this week, the Italian is set to receive significant financial backing in the transfer market.
Spending could begin with a move for Brazilian Dalbert, though Inter are believed to be some way off meeting Nice’s €15m valuation at this point in time.
The 23-year-old enjoyed an impressive first season with the Ligue 1 outfit, helping the Eaglets to an unlikely title bid for much of the campaign.
Having established himself as the first choice left-back - adapting to play as a wing-back in a back three set-up when needed - Dalbert secured a WhoScored.com rating of 7.17 to rank fifth for Lucien Favre’s men. Across 33 league starts he made at least 17 more tackles (87) than any teammate, whilst averaging 1.4 successful dribbles per game and registering 3 assists.
