Barcelona will be without captain Andres Iniesta for four weeks with a hamstring injury, the La Liga champions have confirmed.
Iniesta, 31, was forced off during the reigning European Champions 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.
Barcelona are already without Lionel Messi, Rafinha, Claudio Bravo and Thomas Vermaelen for the considerable future and Luis Enrique’s squad has been further depleted by Iniesta’s leg complaint.
However, the absence of Iniesta may not prove to be the biggest problem for Enrique. In fact, Barcelona boast the same win percentage without Iniesta in the starting line up, as they do with him in it (78.2%).
