Tottenham ready to let Rose leave with replacement lined up

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is ready to sell Danny Rose and replace him with Ryan Sessegnon, reports The Sun.

Pochettino has been assured there will be money to spend this summer having last signed a player in January 2018.

Tottenham have already been heavily linked with moves for midfield duo Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso and are also eyeing defensive reinforcements.

Rose has been heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham in the last few years and last season’s Champions League finalists are finally ready to let him go.

Pochettino has already lined up Rose’s replacement and hopes to get a £35m deal over the line for long-term target Sessegnon.

The versatile left-back has made it clear to Fulham he will not sign a new contract after the Cottagers were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Sessegnon, 19, is looking to secure an immediate return to England’s top-flight this summer, though his current deal is not due to expire until 2022.

The England Under-19 international struggled at times to adapt to his first ever Premier League campaign last season but did finish it with a modest return of two goals and six assists in 35 appearances.
