Big money signing considering Manchester United future

Romelu Lukaku has become the latest big money signing to consider his Manchester United future, reports the Sun.

The Belgian started Wednesday night’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal on the bench and it remains to be seen whether or not he’ll start against Fulham today.

He has joined fellow big money arrivals Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez in their growing frustration with United boss Jose Mourinho.

Pogba was on the bench for the midweek stalemate, while Alexis is recovering from injury, though the duo have previously been singled out by Mourinho for criticism.

And Lukaku could now seek a move away from Old Trafford if his situation doesn’t improve over the coming weeks.

It was reported yesterday that Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite to succeed Mourinho at United, though they’d have to pay Tottenham a hefty fee in order to land the Argentine.

It’s likely to be a move that Lukaku among others would welcome, even as Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes confirmed that the manager is fully focused on the task at hand at United.

Lukaku has struggled for consistency this season with the 25-year-old netting just four times in the Premier League.
