Arsenal have announced they have signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund in a club-record deal worth £56m.
The Gunners only broke their transfer record in the summer when they paid Lyon £46.5m to sign Alexandre Lacazette.
However, Arsene Wenger's side have sanctioned their second big money signing of the season to cap an impressive window for the north London outfit.
Despite the fact Olivier Giroud will join Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott in leaving Arsenal this month, Wenger's side have managed to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan and now Aubameyang.
This month could have been so much worse for Arsenal as Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere all entered the final stage of their contracts, but has ended on a positive not, albeit not on the pitch.
Aubameyang, who has signed a long-term deal, flew in to London at the start of the week to finalise terms with the Gunners and undergo his medical.
Since August 2015, the 28-year-old has scored more clear-cut goalscoring chances than any other player in the Bundesliga (62).
