Wolves complete club-record arrival of Championship whizz

Wolves have announced the club-record arrival of Middlesbrough dribble king Adama Traore.

The newly promoted Premier League side have prised Traore away from Boro after matching his £18m release clause.

Traore was a revelation in the Championship last season and will hope to carry that form into the Premier League after penning a five-year deal with Wolves.

The 22-year-old’s previous stint in the Premier League ended in relegation with Aston Villa and he will hope for better fortunes this time around.

Wolves have now made five signings this summer following the arrivals of Rui Patricio, Jonny Castro, Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez.

Nuno’s side cantered to the Championship title last season and have been tipped to flourish in England’s top-flight next term.

Traore finished last season as the highest WhoScored rated player in the Championship (7.80) after scoring five goals and providing 10 assists.

Not only that, but the former Barcelona academy graduate won the WhoScored Man of the Match award 14 times in 36 appearances and completed more dribbles than the second and third ranked players combined (262).
