Paris Saint-Germain name price for Manchester United target

Paris Saint-Germain have told suitors they will need to pay £26m to sign right-back Thomas Meunier this summer, claims The Daily Mirror.

Meunier will only have 12 months left to run on his existing PSG deal at the end of the season and the Belgium international has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign a new right-back to replace captain Antonio Valencia this summer and has drawn up a list of three transfer targets.

Premier League duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kieran Trippier are being considered but Meunier represents a cheaper alternative to United.

The 27-year-old is not expected to renew his contract with PSG and the Ligue 1 champions are willing to let him go for £26m in the summer.

Meunier has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth for PSG ever since Dani Alves was signed in the summer of 2017.

Of PSG players to have made at least five league starts this season, Meunier is the club’s ninth highest WhoScored rated player (7.07).
