Juventus are becoming increasingly confident that they can convince Alexis Sanchez to return to Italy over the summer, reports the Independent.
The Chilean star started Arsenal’s 3-1 loss at Liverpool from the bench and is growing increasingly disillusioned with life in north London.
Alexis has less than 18 months left to run on his current deal at the Emirates and is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Gunners.
Reports continue to link the 28-year-old with a move away from Arsenal, with PSG and Manchester City also rumoured to be keen on the attacker.
However, Juventus are thought to be leading the race to secure the services of Alexis, who has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal, though, are keen to retain their star man and would even rather lose him on a free rather than cash in on Alexis at the end of the campaign.
That being said, Alexis’ situation at the Emirates could change over the coming weeks, though Arsenal are unwilling to match the £300,000-a-week demands the player is making, which Juventus, PSG and City can do.
