Bayern Munich head coach could take another year out from coaching when his contract with the Bundesliga champions expires at the end of the season, according to Sport Bild.
Guardiola has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City and Chelsea in recent weeks, but the former Barcelona coach has refused to entertain any questions on his future.
According to Sports Bild, the Bayern coach could take another year out of coaching, like he did when he left Barcelona in 2012.
The 44-year-old has previously admitted he can see himself managing a team like Manchester United and his return in 2017 would coincide with the end of Louis van Gaal’s contract at Old Trafford.
Bayern recently came the first Bundesliga team ever to win their first 10 league matches of the season and they are already seven points clear of their nearest rivals.
