Juventus star puts Premier League sides on red alert

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro has put English clubs on red alert after revealing he has a ‘desire’ to play in the Premier League.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Sandro in the last two seasons.

Sandro is not completely settled at Juventus and the Serie A giants have struggled to tie down the 27-year-old to new terms.

The Brazil international has entered the final 18 months of his current Juventus contract and the Old Lady will have to make a decision on his future in the summer.

With only a year left on his contract at the end of the season, Juventus would likely have to cash-in rather than lose him for nothing in the summer of 2020.

Chelsea and United have since resolved their issues at left-back but Sandro has still conceded the Premier League is somewhere he wants to play.

“I think, one day, who knows what will happen,” The Daily Mail quote Sandro as saying on Monday.

“I have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at [Juventus], the league I am playing in.”
