Arsenal have been offered Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez ahead of the January transfer window, claims The Independent.
With Aaron Ramsey due to leave Arsenal when his contract expires in the summer, Unai Emery is on the market for his replacement.
Barcelona have told Suarez’s camp that the 24-year-old does not feature in Ernesto Valverde’s plans, though that was abundantly clear already.
Suarez’s agent has already started the process of finding his client a new club ahead of the January transfer market for a cut-price £14m fee.
Given the small sum required to prise the Spanish playmaker away from Camp Nou, Arsenal are reportedly giving serious thought to signing him next month.
Arsenal will face competition for Suarez’s signature from Spanish side Valencia, though head coach Marcelino has already conceded they will struggle to sign the Barcelona midfielder.
Suarez has only mustered eight minutes of playing time in the league in one substitute appearance this season, while only making the matchday squad on four other occasions.
