PSG defender on Real Madrid's shortlist

Real Madrid are hoping to secure the services of Marquinhos before the close of the transfer window, reports Marca.

Madrid are set to undergo a transfer ban at the end of the month, which will prevent them from bringing in new players until the summer of 2017.

With Pepe turning 33 next month, the Spanish outfit are keen on providing further competition for Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane and have earmarked the PSG centre-back as a possible signing.

The 21-year-old has attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United in the past, but the Premier League pair will face competition from Real Madrid if reports are to be believed.
