Tottenham show Lucas Moura around training ground

Tottenham have moved a step closer to signing Lucas Moura after showing the Paris Saint-Germain winger around their plush training complex, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The 25-year-old has been transfer listed by PSG this month after falling out of favour under Unai Emery but the Ligue 1 giants are yet to find suitors willing to match their transfer demands.

Arsenal and Manchester United have already been heavily linked with a move for the Brazil international but both have opted to pursue alternative targets and cooled their interest in the PSG No.7.

Tottenham have now switched their attentions to signing Moura in the wake of a failed move for Bordeaux starlet Malcom but it remains to be seen whether Mauricio Pochettino would be willing to strike a permanent deal this month.

PSG are hoping to command £22m for the Brazilian but so far potential suitors have only been interested in an initial loan deal with a view to making the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Moura has only managed 72 minutes of league action spread across five substitute appearances this season, with the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over the summer killing his chances of playing.
