Manchester United to double Marcus Rashford’s wages

Manchester United want to reward Marcus Rashford with a new contract to reflect his growing importance to the club, claims The Daily Mirror.

Rashford has 18 months left to run on his current United deal and has been linked with moves to Juventus and Real Madrid in the past.

The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in the world and United are desperate to secure his long-term future.

Rashford was reportedly considering his career at United under former manager Jose Mourinho after struggling to nail down a regular starting berth.

However, interim United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made Rashford his main man ahead of big money signing Romelu Lukaku and the England international has responded in tremendous fashion.
