Tottenham reject £10m bid for Bentaleb

Tottenham have rejected a £10m bid from Schalke for outcast Nabil Bentaleb, according to The Daily Mirror.

Bentaleb, 21, has fallen down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino since the start of last season after failing to rediscover his form following a series of injuries.

Tottenham are willing to part ways with the Algeria international this summer as a result but they aren’t prepared to wilt from their £15m valuation of the central midfielder.

Spurs have only marginally won a higher percentage of their Premier League games without Bentaleb in the starting XI in the last four seasons (52.6%) compared to a win ratio of exactly half (50%) with him in the team.
