The agent of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has denied there is already an agreement in place for his client to join Manchester United this summer.
Grealish has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for the past six months after emerging as a top transfer target for United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a superb individual campaign for the relegation strugglers and finally looks set to leave Villa this summer and take the next step in his career.
Now that Paul Pogba looks set to stay at United, there is some doubt whether United will still firm up their interest in Grealish at the end of the season.
Ahead of Villa's crucial league game with United on Thursday night, Grealish's agent, Jonathan Barnett, who also manages Gareth Bale, insists his client is only thinking about helping Villa avoid relegation.
"Absolutely no deal has been done with anybody," Barnett told Manchester United blog Stretty News.
"I don't think they're [Aston Villa] looking at the Championship themselves, they believe that hopefully they'll get out of the trouble they're in.
"Jack belives it, he's fighting hard, as hard as he can to stop that. That's all that is on his mind at the moment."
Villa were hoping to command in the region of £75m for Grealish before the Coronavirus pandemic struck and relegation to the Championship would only drive down his price tag more.
Grealish has scored seven goals and registered six assists in the Premier League this season, playing a direct hand in 36% of the goals Villa have scored.
Furthermore, the Villa captain is by far and away the most fouled player in Europe's top five leagues this season (151), at least 45 more than any other player.
