Leading bookmakers Betway and Paddy Power have both suspended betting on Chelsea manager Antonio Conte becoming the next Premier League manager to be sacked, reports The Sun.
There have been a flurry of bets on the Italian being sacked by Chelsea this afternoon forcing the bookies to suspend the market fuelling speculation he could lose his job.
Conte was only appointed Chelsea manager in the summer but the 47-year-old has made an underwhelming start to the season with a squad overhaul reportedly already being planned in January.
However, the former Italy manager may not even be Chelsea manager by that time if there is any substance behind the increase of bets on him becoming the next manager to be kicked to the curb in the Premier League.
Conte has won six of his nine matches in charge of Chelsea, with a win success rate of 66.7%.
