Manchester United will look to capitalise upon Real Madrid's quest to land Kylian Mbappe in their own bid to sign Vinicius Junior from Los Blancos this summer, reports the Mirror.
Real Madrid have been courting Mbappe for some time now and the feeling is that the France international will leave PSG for the Spanish capital at the end of the season.
Mbappe's current deal at PSG expires in the summer and he's set to make the switch from Paris to Madrid on a free transfer.
That would benefit United, who have been linked with a high-profile summer move for Vinicius Junior.
The Brazil international and Mbappe each play a similar role from the left of the attack and Real Madrid would look to cash in on Vinicius Junior to fund the Frenchman's signing on fee and wages.
Injury has seen the 23-year-old Brazilian make just 11 league starts for Real Madrid this season, during which he has scored five times and provided one assist.
United are expected to be in active in the summer market once Sir Jim Ratcliffe's minority stake in the club is ratified by the Premier League.
