Chelsea youngster could follow Sancho to the Bundesliga
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham could be the next high profile English prospect to leave for Germany, claims The Sun.
Bundesliga clubs are actively scouring England for the best youngsters following the recent success of former Manchester City academy graduate Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has developed into one of the best teenagers in the world this season and is now being linked with a £100m move to Manchester United.
Other English youngsters like Reiss Nelson, Reece Oxford and Emile Smith Rowe are also plying their trade in the Bundesliga at the moment and Abraham could be the next to follow.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan with Championship side Aston Villa and in January turned down the chance to join Premier League side Wolves.
Abraham has shown fantastic goalscoring pedigree in the Championship but the chances of making it at boyhood club Chelsea look slim.
RB Leipzig, who are preparing for the summer exit of Timo Werner, are now weighing up a £20m bid for the England international, though it remains to be seen whether that will be enough.
Abraham wants his next move to be a permanent one after three loan moves in the last three years, with Leipzig keen on his signature.
The Villa striker has scored 44 goals in 70 Championship appearances in his career, including 21 this season.
