Real Madrid will not accept less than £88m for Bale

Real Madrid are open to selling Gareth Bale at the end of the season but will not entertain offers south of €100m (£88m), reports AS.

Florentino Perez is plotting a summer overhaul of the Madrid squad and some big names are expected to be axed.

Bale has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League in recent years and Madrid are finally ready to cash in on the Wales international.

The 28-year-old has struggled to stay fit for prolonged periods since the start of last season and Madrid have lost patience in their No.11.

Madrid shelled out €100m to sign Bale from Tottenham in 2013 and have made it clear to potential suitors that they want to recoup all of their original investment.

Despite being limited to just 19 appearances in La Liga this season, Bale has still weighed in with nine goals and one assist.
