Pogba's return date for Manchester United revealed

Paul Pogba is targeting a return to first-team action with Manchester United for the Manchester derby on March 8, claims The Daily Mail.

Pogba has been plagued with an ankle injury for most of the season and has not featured for United since Boxing Day.

The France international underwent ankle surgery at the start of the year and has returned to Dubai in recent weeks to step up his recovery.

Pogba is out of his protective ankle boot and is reportedly determined to play a major role for United in the closing stages of the season.

As long as the last stages of Pogba's rehabilitation go to plan, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are hoping to have the midfielder available for their last Manchester derby of the season.

Pogba's return date for Manchester United revealed

Pogba has only played in four of the 11 Manchester derbies that have taken place since he returned to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016.

The 26-year-old's return will be a major boost for United and their hopes of securing a top four finish in the Premier League.

Despite only making seven league appearances this season, only two players have made more accurate through balls than Pogba (5) in the division.
