Former Manchester United boss in frame to replace Bilic at West Ham

David Moyes is primed to replace Slaven Bilic as West Ham manager on a deal until the end of the season, reports The Sun.

West Ham are poised to sack Bilic in the coming days after the Hammers slipped to a 4-1 defeat at home to Liverpool on Saturday to leave them one point above the bottom three.

The Hammers could move into the relegation zone over the international break if Everton manage to beat Watford on Sunday and Bilic has run out of time to save his job at the London Stadium.

The east London outfit will move to replace Bilic with former Everton and Manchester United manager Moyes in a decision that will likely cause uproar among supporters given how far his reputation as a head coach has plummeted.

Moyes has been out of work since being sacked by Sunderland at the end of last season after also overseeing failed stints at United and Real Sociedad in the last three years.

West Ham have less than 10 points after 11 Premier League matches for the first time since the 2010/11 campaign, when they went on to be relegated to the Championship.
