Tottenham dismiss Alli exit talk

Tottenham will not entertain Dele Alli's departure either on loan or permanently this month, reports Sky Sports.

Alli has dropped completely out of favour under Jose Mourinho this season and was expected to push to leave during the January transfer window.

Talks took place between Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain in the summer over a loan move but time ran out for a deal to be concluded.

With former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino now in charge of PSG, speculation about Alli's future has only intensified.

However, Tottenham surprisingly expect Alli to stay at the club this month and fight for his future under Mourinho.

Staying with Tottenham for the rest of the season would make it almost impossible for Alli to force his way back into the England squad for Euro 2020 as things stand.

While Alli may have run out of time even if he does leave this month, the 24-year-old has only registered 75 minutes of playing time in the Premier League this season.
