French side interested in Manchester City outcast Hart
Nice are interested in handing Joe Hart an escape route from his Manchester City hell this summer, claims The Daily Mail.
Hart has returned to City after West Ham opted against making his loan switch permanent at the end of last season.
The England international missed out on Gareth Southgate’s 23-man England squad and has no future at City under Pep Guardiola.
No Premier League clubs have stepped forward with any interest in the 31-year-old and now Hart is facing the prospect of playing abroad for the second time in his career.
Hart joined Torino on loan for the 2016/17 campaign but underwhelmed for the Italian side before moving to West Ham 12 months ago.
The veteran goalkeeper was a regular under Slaven Bilic but lost his place in the starting XI following David Moyes’ appointment in November.
Hart made 19 appearances in the Premier League last season and made as many errors that directly led to goal as he managed clean sheets (4).
New Nice head coach Patrick Vieira is familiar with Hart from his time as a coach at City and the Premier League champions are willing to sanction a cut-price sale.
