Paris Saint-Germain striker Jese has completed a move to Las Palmas on loan until the remainder of the season, the Spanish side have announced.
Jese, 23, only joined PSG from Real Madrid at the start of the season in a deal worth £21m but failed to make any impression under Unai Emery.
The former Spain Under-21 international had been heavily linked with a move to Middlesbrough as Aitor Karanka seeked a reunion with the striker but the Spaniard only had eyes on a return to Spain to play for Las Palmas.
Jese’s return to Spain was complicated by the structure of the loan deal but his desire to move to Quique Setien’s side has pushed the deal over the line.
The Spaniard hasn’t made a first-team appearance since getting five minutes at the end of PSG’s 2-2 draw with Ludogorets in the Champions League at the start of December. Jese has only started 14 games in La Liga but has scored 13 goals in that time.
