Raheem Sterling still hasn’t been told by Manchester City when fresh contract talks will take place, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed the best season of his career and played an integral part in City’s season as they continue to fight on three fronts.
Fernandinho, David Silva, Nicolas Otamendi and Kevin De Bruyne have already penned new deals with City this season but there has been nothing forthcoming for Sterling.
Pep Guardiola’s side have no interest in selling Sterling and they are expected to reward him with new terms to reflect his importance to the team, but the England international has been left in the dark over talks.
Sterling has scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 25 Premier League appearances this season, at least seven more than has previously managed in a single league campaign.
