Leverkusen star ruled out for two weeks

Bayer Leverkusen will be without Javier Hernandez for two weeks after the striker fractured his hand falling down some stairs, reports ESPN.

Hernandez, 28, has been in top form since joining Leverkusen from Manchester United last summer and had been linked with a move to Arsenal at the start of the summer.

However, the Mexico international won’t return to first-team action until after the international break after suffering the hand injury in bizarre circumstances.
