Juventus holding out for €60m for Manchester City target Cancelo

Juventus are now demanding €60m (£53.3m) from Manchester City for Joao Cancelo, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

Cancelo has been earmarked as a top transfer target by City this summer, as Pep Guardiola sounds out competition for Kyle Walker at right-back.

It was reported earlier this week City were close to agreeing a deal with Juventus for Cancelo but now the Old Lady are asking for more money.

City have already offered Danilo as part exchange to lower the fee but Juventus do not want the Brazil international.

Juventus instead want the Premier League champions to make Cancelo one of the most expensive defenders of all-time.

Cancelo finished his first season at Juventus in the WhoScored Team of the Season in Serie A (7.20). Furthermore, only Jeremie Boga (3.3) and Josip Ilicic (2.5) averaged more dribbles per game than Cancelo (2.4) in Italy’s top-flight last term.
