Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in signing West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet in January, according to Le Parisien, via talkSPORT.
Payet, 29, has been heavily linked with a move away in the New Year following West Ham’s struggles and the France international would not be short of suitors following his outstanding maiden campaign with the Hammers last season.
The former Marseille creator was one of the best players at Euro 2016 and has carried on his form, to some extent, with West Ham this season despite the fact the club are battling relegation.
PSG are expected to use the January transfer window to strengthen their squad after making an underwhelming start to life under new boss Unai Emery, although they are reportedly prioritising the window to sign a second striker to ease the burden on Edinson Cavani.
Only Arsenal No.10 Mesut Ozil (180) has created more chances in the Premier League since the start of last season than Payet (166).
