Liverpool consider cut-price deal for Malaga midfielder

Malaga could be forced to sell Liverpool target Ignacio Camacho for as little as £4m in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

The La Liga outfit have been forced to sell their best players since Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani suddenly opted against bankrolling the squad with his multi-millions in 2013.

Malaga have seen more than £100m worth of players leave the club since then and only around £12m outlaid on new recruits, with Javi Gracia forced to turn to their academy on countless occasions.

Despite having an £8m buy-out clause, Malaga may be forced to compromise and sell Camacho for as little as £4m, with Liverpool expected to step up their interest in the summer.

The 25-year-old has only started 12 league games this season, but no Malaga player is averaging more interceptions and tackles combined than the former Atletico Madrid midfielder this season (6.6).
