Jesse Lingard wants to fight for his Manchester United future amid talk of a summer move to Arsenal, claims Metro.
The 27-year-old has endured a disasterous campaign on and off the field and has tumbled down the pecking order at United this season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to have lost patience with Lingard and is ready to wield the axe on a number of underperforming players at the club.
Reports emerged over the weekend claiming Arsenal would struggle to rule out a move for Lingard in the summer but the England international is desperate to stay at his boyhood club.
Lingard has dropped even further out of favour since Bruno Fernandes' arrival from Sporting CP in January to leave his future completely up in the air.

Lingard will only have 12 months left to run on his current United deal this summer but the Red Devils have an option to prolong his stay by a further year.
United have previously valued Lingard in the region of £40M but will struggle to command that sort of fee given how far his reputation has diminished this season.
