Roma are interested in making a move for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa as they look to bolster their attack, reports The Daily Mail.
Injuries and a lack of form has seen Costa make just eight league starts for Atletico this season, with the Spain international scoring just twice in LaLiga this term.
With Atletico making Alvaro Morata's move permanent later this year, head coach Diego Simeone may elect to move Costa on in order to raise funds to improve the squad elsewhere.
And Roma are pondering whether to bring the 31-year-old to Italy as Paulo Fonseca seeks to strengthen in the final third.
Edin Dzeko has led the attack well for the Serie A side this season, scoring 12 times and registering four assists for Roma, but at 34 years of age, the Bosnian is in the twilight years of his career.
And beyond Dzeko, striker options are thin on the ground for Fonseca, who believes he can land Costa at a cut price.
Since returing to Atletico from Chelsea, Costa has really struggled in front of goal, netting just seven league goals since the start of 2017/18.
