Paris Saint-Germain midfielder free to leave this summer
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Unai Emery has confirmed that midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak is free to leave the club this summer.
The Poland international followed Emery from Sevilla to Paris last summer, but struggled to make a lasting impact in the French capital.
Indeed, the 27-year-old made only seven starts in Ligue 1 last season in what was a disappointing campaign for the Poland international.
And his time in France could be coming to a premature end after Emery confirmed that Krychowiak is free to leave the club this summer.
“I’ve spoken with him. He’s a quality player who can play in a very good team,” Emery is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
“But at PSG, some players, when they arrive, must be capable of crossing an additional step to adapt to the play of the team.
“It’s not the same as at other teams. So, it’s better he finds another team where the play is better suited to him.”
A return to Spain has been mooted for Krychowiak, while Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in the Pole.
