Monaco have rejected a €50m (£44m) offer from Chinese Super League outfit Tianjin Quanjin for striker Radamel Falcao, according to L’Equipe, via Get French Football.
Falcao, 30, has enjoyed a stunning return to form this weekend after enduring two disastrous years in England with Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Colombia international has been in sublime form in front of goal for Monaco this season and Leonardo Jardim’s side have now rejected a huge offer from China, although they are reportedly open to selling the former Atletico Madrid striker.
Tianjin Quanjin, who are managed by Fabio Cannavaro, are also reportedly interested in signing Chelsea striker Diego Costa and are alleged to be willing to offer £80m for his services – both Falcao and Costa are represented by Jorge Mendes.
Of players to have scored at least five goals in Europe’s top five leagues this season, Falcao has required the fewest minutes per goal (1 every 70.6 mins).
