Leicester will move for Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama if they fail to keep hold of N’Golo Kante this summer, according to The Daily Star.
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly handed Kante a five-year deal and will meet his release clause leaving the Foxes powerless to keeping their star midfielder.
Leicester have also been linked with Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi but they have reportedly turned their attentions to Wanyama.
Southampton are bracing themselves for a summer exodus with manager Ronald Koeman poised to leave to manage Everton and Wanyama would appear the most likely to leave having attempted to angle for move away in the last 12 months.
No player was sent off more times across Europe’s top five leagues than Wanyama last season (3).
