Real Madrid have told Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea he needs to decide on his future by May or risk losing out on a move to the Spanish giants forever, reports The Daily Mirror.
Zinedine Zidane’s side failed in their attempts to sign De Gea two seasons ago and have now reportedly rekindled their interest in the Spain international following Keylor Navas’ underwhelming campaign.
Madrid have been interested in signing a big name goalkeeper since letting Iker Casillas leave the club in 2015 and have already been linked with the likes of Hugo Lloris and Thibaut Courtois as a result.
However, De Gea has always been their first choice transfer target but they are losing patience in their pursuit of the United No.1 and have told the Spaniard to decide on his future before the end of the season.
In the last two Premier League campaigns no goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets than De Gea (25).
