Bologna are exploring the possibilty of taking Didier Drogba on loan when the MLS season finishes, according to reports from Italy.
The Ivorian powerhouse has been in fine form for Montreal Impact, bagging 12 goals in 12 league appearances for his side.
The 37-year-old could secure a short-term move to the Serie A side during the off-season to maintain match fitness, with Bologna a feasible destination for the experienced frontman.
Impact owner Joey Saputo is a majority shareholder and chairman of Bologna, which has heightened speculation of a possible move.
Drogba's form for the Impact has helped him gain a WhoScored rating of 7.80, the best of all players at the club.
