Liverpool turn attentions to Hull defender

Liverpool are interested in bolstering their options at left-back with the signing of £8m-rated Hull defender Andrew Robertson in the summer, reports The Daily Mail.

Jurgen Klopp has opted to play midfielder James Milner in defence this season after failing to be convinced by Alberto Moreno and is understandably looking to bolster that area of the pitch ahead of next season given Milner is now 31.

Robertson, 23, has impressed for league strugglers Hull this season and would certainly provide Liverpool with an affordable option in the summer transfer window with a view to making him Milner’s long-term replacement, although it will only move Moreno closer to the exit door.

The Scotland international has started 28 games for Hull this season, playing a direct hand in three goals from left-back.
