Bayern Munich turn attention from Hudson-Odoi to new Chelsea winger

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Willian when his Chelsea deal expires in the summer, claims The Daily Telegraph.

Willian has entered the final six months of his current Chelsea contract and is demanding a three-year deal to renew.

Chelsea do not even tend to hand out new deals to players the wrong side of 30 but have offered Willian a new two-year contract.

The 31-year-old has made it clear he will not change his demands and as of now he is set to leave Chelsea on a Bosman transfer in the summer.

Willian is not short of potential suitors, with London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham keen on his signature.

Bayern are also monitoring Willian's future at Stamford Bridge, as they look to bring in new wingers at the end of the season.

The Bundesliga giants failed to prise Callum Hudson-Odoi away from Chelsea in January 2019 but remain in the hunt for Manchester City's Leroy Sane.

Ivan Perisic is unlikely to earn a permament move from Inter to Bayern after suffering a serious ankle injury earlier this year and Willian could take his place in the squad for next season.

Willian has both scored five goals and registered five assists in the Premier League this season and turned in his best display of the season in Sunday's 4-0 win over Everton (9.29).

The 31-year-old scored and assisted in a Premier League game for the first time since October to help Chelsea to a commanding victory over the Toffees.
