Tottenham are growing increasingly confident of signing Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon at the end of the season, claims The Daily Mirror.
Sessegnon has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham in the past but has so far resisted any temptations to leave boyhood club Fulham.
The 18-year-old will only have 12 months left to run on his current Fulham deal at the end of the season and is stalling on signing a new contract with the Cottagers.
With Fulham all but certain to be relegated down to the Championship this season, Sessegnon is pondering his future at Craven Cottage and Tottenham are waiting in the wings.
Despite struggling in his first season in the Premier League, Tottenham are still keen on the teenager and will firm up their interest in the summer if Fulham fail to make a breakthrough in contract talks.
Only Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho (12) has registered more assists than Sessegnon (five) of all teenagers in Europe's top five leagues this season but the Fulham youngster has generally struggled this season, illustrated by his WhoScored rating of 6.44.
