Tottenham eye two Serie A strikers

Tottenham have earmarked Fiorentina starlet Dusan Vlahovic and Crotone striker Simy as transfer targets to help ease the burden on Harry Kane, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side are bracing themselves for offers for Kane from Manchester City but are determined to keep the England captain.

Tottenham have signed Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and are still in talks with the Serie A outfit for centre-back Cristian Romero.

New sporting director Fabio Paratici is flexing his contacts in Serie A and has earmarked two strikers to bring in to help Kane and not replace him.

Vlahovic has been heavily linked with a move away from Fiorentina after bursting on to the scene last season with 21 league goals.

The 21-year-old has also attracted reported interest from Liverpool after a devastating breaktout campaign for Fiorentina.

Tottenham are also monitoring Crotone frontman Simy, who would be significantly cheaper than Vlahovic.

Crotone were relegated from Serie A last season and have lost all bargaining power when setting the asking price for Simy.

Despite playing for a side that finished second from bottom in Serie A last season, Simy remarkably finished the campaign with 20 goals.
